How the Steam list is ranked
We collected 24,882 Steam titles that disclose AI use and sorted each by how much of the game AI makes. The 104 where AI wrote most of the code or runs the gameplay are watched here: every 12 hours we read how many people are playing each one, straight from Steam.

Collect the AI disclosures
Steam asks developers to say how they use AI. We gathered 24,882 titles with an AI disclosure, one entry per Steam app.

Sort by how much AI does
Each title is checked on two questions: did AI write most of the code, and does AI run the core gameplay while you play? AI-made art, music or translation alone doesn't count. 104 titles pass at least one.

Read who's playing
Every 12 hours we ask Steam's official Web API how many people are playing each watched title at that moment, and read its followers and reviews from Steam.

A game's number is the most players online we read in the last 24 hours. Followers break ties, and the ten highest make the list.
