What builders report
- Sac says The Little Prince: Among the Stars took 16 days, and that Opus 5.5, working with Tripo and Blender, turned each planet in the story into a 3D scene you can explore.Source: x.com ↗
- riba2534 says each of the three games came from a one-sentence prompt in a single Claude Code session, with no code edited by hand, and that every model, texture and sound in them is generated by code.Source: github.com ↗
- riba2534's README says the model tested its own builds in a headless browser, ran a 320-second soak test on the pelican game, and had a sub-agent review the code, which found 12 issues that were then fixed.Source: github.com ↗
- Hyacinth says the starting point was a pixel-art short film of theirs from a year earlier. The scenes reuse that animation; Opus called Nano Banana Pro to make the characters and maps, and synthesizes the music and sound effects live in the browser.Source: x.com ↗
- Jon Radoff says the original engine's source code was lost, so Radoff used Claude Code to rebuild Legends of Future Past from preserved script files, a 1998 GM scripting guide and a 1996 session log, over a single weekend.Source: github.com ↗
- Radoff says Claude Code worked out the game's undocumented scripting language by reading the old docs and real script files, and that one misread spawn rule briefly put more than 3,000 monsters into the world at once.Source: github.com ↗
About these games
Opus 5.5 is behind the most games here. Within weeks of its September 2026 release, creators had used it for an island fishing game built in about eight hours, a Little Prince story that took 16 days, a wuxia sword-fighting game and a voxel Dynasty Warriors. riba2534 made three more from a single sentence each: a pelican bike ride and takes on CrossFire and QQ Speed.
Older Claude models are behind some of the bigger projects. Jon Radoff used Claude Code to bring back Legends of Future Past, the online text game Radoff created in 1992, over a weekend. OpenMMO is a solo-built browser MMORPG whose code shows six different Claude models. fly.pieter.com, a multiplayer flight sim from February 2025, was built in Cursor with Claude 3.5 Sonnet and Grok 3. Most creators who name a tool work in Claude Code; a few use Cursor.

FAQ
What kinds of games have people made with Claude?
Mostly browser games, and many of them 3D: an island fishing game, a story game based on The Little Prince, a wuxia sword-fighting game, a multiplayer flight sim and fan takes on Dynasty Warriors, CrossFire, QQ Speed, Call of Duty and Quake. There are bigger projects too, like a restored 1992 online text game and a browser MMORPG, plus one Steam story game, Meet Claude.
Which Claude models do creators use for games?
Opus 5.5 is behind the most games on this page, nearly all of them made in the weeks after its September 2026 release. Earlier projects used Opus 5, Opus 4.7, Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6 and, for fly.pieter.com, Claude 3.5 Sonnet. Each game shows the exact model when the creator names it or it can be seen in the code.
How long does it take to make a game with Claude?
It ranges from one prompt to a few weeks. riba2534 says each of three games came from a single sentence in one session. Tidewater took about eight hours and roughly $1,874 in tokens, according to AI Frontier Post. Legends of Future Past came back in a weekend, the capybara delivery game took about 15 days and The Little Prince: Among the Stars took 16 days, their creators say.
Which tools do people use with Claude?
Claude Code is the most common. Pixel Shanghai, fly.pieter.com and The Great Taxi Assignment were made in Cursor. For art, Sac used Tripo and Blender for the Little Prince’s 3D planets, and Hyacinth says Opus called Nano Banana Pro to draw Pixel Shanghai’s characters and maps. riba2534’s games use no image or audio files at all.
Can I play these games for free?
Yes, every game here that’s still online. Almost all open straight in the browser; Legends of Future Past, OpenMMO and Wolfcha ask you to sign in first, and Meet Claude and Wuxia Survivors are free downloads on Steam. Many of the 3D games are built for keyboard and mouse.
How do you know a game was made with Claude?
The creator said so in a launch post, a README, a jam entry form or a Steam AI disclosure, or it shows in the public code, such as Claude Code setup files or commit notes naming the model. Every game links its source. Reports from third parties alone don’t put a game on this page.
