About
About TryAIgame
A hand-picked directory of games made with AI. We find games worth playing, check that they work, and write down how they were made.
What we list
We list a game when:
- AI did a big part of making it — most of the code was written by an AI model or coding agent — or AI is central to how it plays, like characters you talk to or a world generated as you go;
- it's genuinely good, or lots of people are playing and talking about it; and
- you can play it, or at least watch it.
Fan games, remakes, "AI versions" of classics and games made on AI game platforms are welcome if they clear the same bar. Games that only used AI for art or voices don't count. We'd rather list a hundred games worth your time than ten thousand you'll never open.
No ratings
We don't score games, and we don't rank AI models. If a game is listed, we think it's worth a look — the card tells you what it is and how it was made. The numbers on model pages are how many games we've listed, not which model is better.
How we describe AI use
- Creator says — the creator said it publicly: a post, a README, the game's page, or a jam or store form they filled in.
- Seen in code — visible in the game's public source code, such as commit trailers or agent config files.
- Reported — from a third party. We link the source and show it with a dashed outline.
- Via a tool — the creator named a first-party tool (Claude Code, Codex) but not the model version.
- Not disclosed — we couldn't find out. We never guess.
Where AI was used
Every game shows which parts AI was used for — Code, Art (including 3D and video), Audio, and Gameplay (AI running inside the game while you play) — for example AI: Code · Art · Audio. We only list what the creator has disclosed or what we can see in the code. Tools a person drives by hand, like Blender, don't count.
Status labels
Demo and Video only describe how far along a game is; no label means it's a complete game. Online, Having issues, Moved and Offline describe whether you can play it right now. We check every link every day; the date of our last check is in each game's details. Games that go offline stay listed, with a link to the source code, an archived copy or the launch post.
How listing works
- Anyone can submit a game, including their own. Self-submissions get the same review as everything else.
- We also find games ourselves — on X, Reddit, YouTube, Bilibili, Xiaohongshu, itch.io, Steam, game jams and beyond.
- We list first, then let the creator know.
- Listings stay up by default. Creators can ask us to update or remove theirs at any time — no reason needed.
Independence
No one pays to be listed or featured. When a creator discloses a sponsor, we say so on the card.
Contact & removal
Made a game listed here, or own rights in one, and want it changed or removed? Use Request removal in the game's details, or email [email protected]. Tell us which game and what you'd like. We hide the listing as soon as we get your request and finish within 72 hours.
Corrections, tips, submissions and everything else go to the same address: [email protected]. We read every email ourselves.
